installation trouble w/ disc 1

when i try to install disc 1 it says the 'installation process was interrupted.' can you help me?

Hrm, my install disk 1 didn't work right either, but I don't remember what the exact error message was. One thing you can do (if you have the space) is copy it the disk to the hard drive and install from there.

However if you do that, I think you need to copy all 4 disks to hard drive, and very importantly.. to the same folder.. then run the installer and go from there.

how much space would that take?

It would take 5 gigabytes max - probably less - to copy them to your HD, and then it would take another 5 gigabytes for the actual installed game.

However, copying to the HD may or may not work. Most games have CD images and tons of copy protection to prevent you from doing that very thing, but this is an MMORPG and the purchase of the game isn't S-E's main source of income off of it, so they may not have all of that copy protection. Since you suggested it I'm assuming you know it works - but if it doesn't, this is why^^
