Question about the board
Why is it when someone writes in japanese on here it turns into random symbols?

I have installed the japanese on my computer and it works on other websites and I can type it but I can't read it here.

Am I the only one with this problem can anyone help me out?

right click on the screen somwhere, go to encoding>more>Japanese(Shift-JIS) and you should be able to see the writing correctly.
