POL Viewer crash on splash screen

Anybody able to tell me what's going on? I'm on JP version.

I've completely uninstalled, reinstalled POL Viewer, then FFXI. DirectX is updated well past requirements and i can't find anything that would be causing this problem, any help would be appreciated.

i start pol up, and i only see the Splash screen. then it starts up and i cant see anything. i can hear the sound but i dont see anything. wtf!

I've fixed the problem by opening up task manager, going under processes, and selecting to debug pol.exe. However...you need debugging software and I think MSDev is the only software that registers through task manager.

To be blunt and straight to the point...unless you have Microsoft Visual C++ or the MSDN suite....this post wont help you a single bit lol
