Those are normal pictures. They pop up every time you close POL without properly logging out. EG: Shutting computer down instantly, minimising POL then closing it from the task bar etc.

How do I uninstall FFXI, I don't see FFXI in add/remove programs I only see Playonline Viewer.

Leon: Right now, thats the only way I can close POV, it will just stay on the same screen and not do anything! I'm gonna go cry now

If playonline viewer is 5gb then it's both. Im not sure what else. I don't have my game yet im just reading what I can for ya.

Actually its titled PlayOnline Viewer and Tetra Master and it doesnt say the size. God, i'm so confused!

Look under the start menu for an FFXI uninstall maybe? Like start-programs-squaresoft and then an uninstall. If not then playonline viewer must be both. Sorry I can't clear it up for you. I'm just takeing wild shots in the dark, i'll shut up if you like?

No its not there, I think I'll just uninstall Playonline and hopefully it will take FFXI with it. Because I checked and my Playonline folder in Program files is 4gb and has the Final Fantasy XI folder in it. What do you think?

Aye then playonline viewer is both. Uninstall it and it should take both.

Ok I tried it and it uninstalled everythin EXCEPT Final Fantasy XI onine...

eek. well you can always jump the gun and delete the whole file. With everything in it. then reinstall, that should be like uninstalling

but it could mess up it some how. Not that anything like that has ever happened I have done it with games before.

For the first few pics, I believe that you have not proper close POL and FFXI properly for a few times, and most of the files that store in your hdd has been corrupt. Because it happens to me before (and I improper closing POL many times last time):sweat: :sweat:

Ok, there has been a development. When I rebooted my computer before log-on it gave me a Windows XP screen that says that the consisntancy of my computer wasn't correct, not everything was NTFS or something like that. So it ran CHKDSK and delete a corrupt file. Dbeeo, I think your onto something because this started happening after accidently hit the windows button, then tried to log back on. Could you please go into more detail about what happened? This would be a great help.

Another HUGE development, I got Final Fantasy XI installed properly (or at least I think I did), but when I click back on Playonline Viewer it takes me to the same screen I saw when I first got things running. I know the top one is new user, so I'm assuming that the lower one is existing user. Right?

Soo... I click on it and it brings me to this screen: But the thing is, I dunno where to put what, and now I'm just confused. If I have to start an entirely new log-on... that's ok with me. But I do wanna figure this out, just incase I wanna save 10 bucks. Also, it looks kinda fuzzy, whats going on? Could someone please tell me where to put what?!

If memory serves me right, The top one you can leave blank because That will create a user name for you to access POL. Not to be confused with POL ID. This ones just for POL offline.

The next 2 lines are passwords (first is password then 2nd one is retype password).

The 3rd line asks for your POL ID number.

And the 4th line asks for your password.
