I havent seen a guide or help on how to set ur video settings?

it all depends on your video card.. since there are lots of cards ther would be lots fo FAQS best choice is to mess around with your own
right click desktop>settings>adv > start click and tweaking,
it took me about 2 hours to make my FFXI rez better and more crisper

So there is no actual in game video settings? Like resolution and the like, and detal?

Im pretty sure i can run this game on as high as it will go.

goto start->programs->Playonline->final Fantasy XI->Final Fantasy XI Config and theres options to change your resolution and such.
