The video problem could be the drivers, or the actual video card itself. First, try DOWNGRADING the drivers, and see what that does. (PS What video card is it anyway) 2nd, make sure the video card is running at relatively cool temperatures, check the fan out and make sure thats all clean, and make sure nothing is actually wrong with it. Try swapping your card with a friends, and even a friends with your own and see what happens. If your friends works fine on your PC, then its something with the video card, and the same if your card doesnt work on a friends computer, theres something wrong. If your friends card doesnt work with your PC though, it could be something bigger.

Its wierd if its all games. Definatly try swapping out the video card with a Geforce 4 brand card, same drivers , and see what happens. If the other vid card works, then its yours that is the problem, so call up Nvidia and ask them about sending you card in for repairs. ~Borman ~Future Computer Repair Man :D

This type of problem can definitely stem from drivers and heat problems. I noticed the problem a lot before I added extra cooling to my machine. It would only happen after gaming for quite some time though. I run an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro card and fixed the majority of problems by changing drivers to older and now to the newer drivers. You might want to go into your BIOS, if you know how, and see what type of temperature your computer is running at. It can have a large effect. ~Dracos |

But you see, this never happened before, it just started one day, and now its still here, would my HD have anything to do with it? its like 2Gb from being full >< (im upgrading to a much better PC soon, so this problem dosn't really bother me i just dont play period, but still it would be nice to play FF11 again before getting my new PC ^-^)

Sometimes things just happen, my friends Radeon 9800 pro just crapped out on him one day. Sent it to ATI, got a new card, so call the company and get a new card anyway lol.

I ran the diagnostics cd that came with my RADEON and half of the items failed. I presume this was due to overheating. Is there any steps to ensure that when I get a new card I won't overheat my card? |

Fans, or watercooling if thats your bag of chips. I personally have to run with the side off the computer, and that prevents overheating most of the time.
