*pol Problem* Help Pls

I have been playing FFXI for months now, and no problems, then 2days after the POL update, I was playing FFXI fine with no problems, I then updated my Critical Updates, and the next time i went to load up POL, the loading screen appears, then disapears, but I cannot see the POL Viewer. It appears in my Toolbar, but not on the Desktop. i hear the music, and if i press up or down on Keyboard, i hear the sound of menus changing

Anyone know why, or more importantly How to fix this problem.

i couldnt fix this problem via any means, so i uninstalled FFXI and POL, and reinstalled it, it took a long long time, but it seems to of done the trick, it seem to work ok now.
