content ID renewal

I was under the impression that my content ID would be renewed automatically at the end of my free trial period, and my visa, automatically billed. My free trial period has ended, and ever since then i have been unable to play FFXI.

Everytime i have tried to load the game since the free trial expiration date it gives me the "Terminated because Full-screen lost error", before i even get to the "it all began with a stone...yadayadayada"

I have looked all over POL and while i can find what the monthly fees are, I cannot find what fees i specifically have due, and it doesn't specifically say that i have been charged any fees recently.

I read that if you have invalid payment information you will get some kind of suspended account message. I have not gotten that message, and my payment info is valid anyway.

Do i need to somehow manually renew my content ID?

If so how do i do that?

I have never had technical problems running FFXI on my system, until now.

I don't think you're problem is due to payment. My free trial period ended the 24, but I've still been able to get onto the game. You don't have to renew your subscriptions, as far as I know. They charge you at the beginning of the month, unless you get rid of your content IDs.

The full screen lost error is something different. I would suggest going into Configuration and changing some settings, namely the screen resolution. Had you changed it right before you started getting these errors? I'm not sure how to help you, but I am pretty certain that its not because of a payment mix up. If no one here replies, I recommend going to playonline.com and checking around the FAQ page to see if there are any similar problems there. If not, ask them about it. You can contact them in the same part of the page.

You were right!!

I don't know how it happened or how i fixed it but after messing around with my screen resolution settings i was able to get back in.
