Can a NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Model 64 Pro 32 MB graphics card run FFXI

i tried the benchmark and got an ERROR=2001

ne knowledge would be helpful thanx

how much money will it cost to get a good working graphics card

oh and how can u find out if u have DirectX

1) Anywhere from $75 to 300+, depending on how much power you want...

2) Go to START menu > Run...
Type DxDiag and the DirectX diagnostic will start.
Click the "DirectX Files" Tag to get a display of which DirectX drivers are on which version (you should have dx8.1 or higher, go to http://www.microsoft.com/directx to upgrade if otherwise)

so lets say a 100$ graphics card would run decent on FFXI right

A $100 graphics card will run it fine.

Check pricewatch.com

Get a Geforce 4 TI 4200, they're about $100 and will run it great.

But remember to run the game well the minimum is 800mhz processor speed, and make sure you have enough ram also.
