Annoying Line....
Hey, when I play Final Fantasy XI I occasionally get these annoying white lines going through the screen at random times. They don't stay on very long, so if there isn't a solution it won't bother me too much. Some assistance would be appreciated though. Here are my PC specs:

Pentium4 2.26 Ghz
512 MB RAM
80 GB Hard Drive
Xtasy (Powered by ATI) Radeon 9200 128 MB
DirectX 9.0b

I have the latest 3.10 CATALYST drivers for my video card and I did most of the critical and recommended updates on windowsupdate.com

Any suggestions?

P.S: I included a picture of the problem.....

Equipment

That thread has a few people that have the same problem.

It's an error with ATI cards... the 8500 and 9000-9200 series cards. 9500, 9600 9700 and 9800 don't have this problem.

The solution? Nothing. You're going to have to live with it, or switch to an nVidia card. Read through my last post in that thread and click the link and fill out the form to report the problem to ATI. Hopefully they'll fix it in their next driver release. Though I wouldn't count on it... it's a problem with the 3.5-3.10 Cat. drivers. Haven't tested anything earlier because I'm sick of it... maybe I'll do it, one day. The thing that sucks for 9xxx users is that the furthest back you can go are the 3.7 drivers IIRC.

I certainly don't, in fact this card was a gift. It really isn't too bothersome, it would just be nice to not have it happen anymore.

I can live with it but hopefully something is done about it eventually.
