if you don't know what your password is, and your like me, and want to play the american version, you can move the login_w.bin file that is stored in your " C:\Program Files\PlayOnline\Square\PlayOnlineViewer\usr\all ". and move it over to the same exact location ( cept it's SquareEnix folder ) in the US version, by doing so you will have copied your login information, including the encrypted password information, so you then can play using the US version.
