PC Preperation?

I have decided to import and some of my friends have as well.... the wait has become more than rediculous and all the importers here seem to be doing fine and enjoying it. My first question of what may become many is... is there anything i should do to prepare for the installation of FF XI ? other than make sure my sepcs will be fine (P4 G4 2002 Dell) and switch the language mode? but other than that is there really anything i should worry about or prep before hand?

Um, prepare for a lot of hectic hours and frustration hehe.

Hm, download the Benchmark program and see what kind of score you get. If it's 3,000+ you should be set to go.

thanks yeah i did heh and ugh gyuhhhh.. i did so bad i got like 1578 but that's with my g-force 2 in there.. i'll have my g-force 4 in later this week and hopefully that will make a dramatic difference...also my comp needs to be reformated i got hit with whut i think were a series of lil viruses long story but yeah i have cable but my internet runs like a 56k... except for DLing which is still cable speed. but thanks much for the info

Just copy and paste all of the things that need to be in Japanese such as the address and whatnot. There are addresses on the fourms already and I just reposted one recently. Once you do that the setup is fairly easy.
