I have everything except the minimum 800mhz.. have any of you seen the game work on 664? Hopefully, I'll get my friend's spare 966mhz upgrade by the time the game comes, but just in case.. is it possible for it to work?

I'm not for sure on it, but I think you would be able to run it pretty good on a very low graphic setting. Your proccessor speed is the only thing I'd really worry about to tell you the truth. And as far as I have seen that really hasn't made much of a difference.

Uh, why don't you just try out the Benchmark? It will test your PC with a few scenes rendered by the game engine. Click on the following link to see the instructions to download:

>Click me!<

The site also features a result measurement table. Be sure to disable all "special features" that your GFX-Card drivers may feature, try low res first.

Generally:
Benchmark runs = Game will run
Under 1500 points = You will have MAJOR problems playing, even with lowest graphic settings
1500-3500 points = Game will be playable at decent framerates with the right GFX-settings :-D
Over 3500 points = High res mode may be fun...
Over 4000 points = Have fun with all the bells and whistles

Wewt.

I just got my new computer, I have yet to hook it up, but here are the stats:

2.6 GHZ 800 MHZ FSB 512k Cache, 1024 DDR Corsair RAM w/ heat spreaders, ATI Raedon 9600 PRO 256 MB DDR W/TV OUT and DVI, Windows XP Home Edition, and a 80 GB Harddrive. I hope I will be able to play with all the bells and stuff. Got the benchmark burned on a cd, so I don't have to re-download it. 55 mb on 56k = takes a little while.

Oh yeah, with those specs it looks like it'll be able to get 4000 or more. Just a reminder to people the benchmark scores that you find on Squares website are based on scores you would get running it on Low resolution only.

So if you run the benchmark on high and it doesn't pass 4000 does not mean that it won't preform good, there really isn't any scores setup for what you need to pass on high resolution. It's really sort of just there for the kicks, if your system can get over 4000 on low resolution then running high resolution is really just to see if your system can run it. Other then that the score you get on high has no offical scores on if it's good or bad.

Dood, the benchmark site shows what each score means. I can't believe how many people don't try the benchmark, then when they are pointed to the link, they don't bother checking their score at all. Instead, they just ask others about it. Not only that, Zonicone already posted what the scores mean because he knows that some people are too lazy to check on the playonline site without a direct link. Even with that, you've failed to recognize your score.
