If i get a need a new video card do i need to reinstall ff11?

hey guy i bought this amazing game. But problem is i installed thinking my card would work but I need a better one which im buying geforce fx 5600 ultra asylum but i need to know it i need to reinstall because i have 56k and it took like 5 hours to update any ideas help!

Nope...u don't have to re-install the FFXI.

Please note that new Geforce series is coming (ex: the FX 5700 family will replace the FX 5600).

Therefore, if u are satisfy of your current graphic card, pls wait a while for the new FX5700.

good but it said my crappy card will wont support tnl hardware i would think that i would have to reinstall th software any one else with replies. thx guys

no you dont need to reinstall any software. The hardware can either perform the operations or it cannot.

note i recomed the radeon 9600pro which is cheaper and better proven on 3dbench also nvidia has a program that cheast that will use direct x 8 instead of 9 but in the bench marks with that program gone in did even worse!
