multiple computers using 1 POL account at same time?

i know someone who was playing 2 characters at the same time on ffxi when partying.. using his pc and his laptop for each one

i've tried connecting both my computers (pc & laptop) with the same POL account, but once would disconnect the opposite once connected... any possibilty to use the same POL account rather then having two?

You cannot log on two characters simultaneously if those characters are on the same Play Online account.
You have to get two Play Online accounts and create characters on each account to realize what you want to do.
