Listen to me and the gates to heaven will open. I spoke to FF support on this They are still working on the errors for HDD people are getting. Seems it is related more to PS2 issues so they dont know yet of a fix. This one agent told me though a way to update your FF to get it working... :spin: :spin: Get a PC with a working FF online 1) Go to the FF folder and copy ANY file with the word patch 2) Burn to CD or any transfer method 3) Put them into the same directories / areas in the computer that cant update 4) This is basically the patch |

:confused: Well 5 days later I finally fixed my roomies PC Heres what we did and it worked with some minor reboots on its 1) Fresh install of play online viewer 2) Updated just the viewer 3) Rebooted 4) Installed FF off the CD's including the expansion 5) Transfered copies of my working FF folder (all contents) to the desktop on the other PC 6) Pasted in the entire folder contents to the other PC FF directory folder 7) Overwrite all FF files 8) Opened POL 9) Went into FF Now the fun part... 1) On opening FF and clicking to the PLAY 2) System prompted that their was an HDD error a) Click Retry b) Update process begins ( some reboots did happen ) c) After checking the files got prompt "Update complete" TA DAH --> FF online working :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p
