*Sigh* My Board is Puking /cry

Since i installed my GForce 4 my board has been over heating like you would not beleive at first it was only in FFXI when i had back buffer at 1024x768, then it puked with 512 back buffer only when there was a lot of action on the screen, after that it was everywhere and now it even pukes when i am on the internet

I am at my wits end, has anyone else had this type of a problem?

can your power supply support it, if not you may need a new one

ya, for the GeForce FX, you need at least a 350 watt power supply. Thats why most gamers go for 400-500 watt power supply's, cause of the fast GFX Cards, and processors, also dont forget your mobo, which sucks up the most power

hrm, you may be onto something... i just recently upgraded from a 200 watt (rofl) to a 300, i will try getting a larger powersupply.
I dont know if this means anything but my computer doesnt power down... it seems that the video just cuts out...

sounds like you're missing the wattage mark...
up it to 350w~450w and it'll be fine
