I was wondering if anyone has used the 9600 with FFXI. And if there were any problems with using it.

Well, I have got a Radeon 9600 TX and got a bench without problems: Score 4900 or something. So I guess there is no trouble with playin. I can tell you more after I got the game .

I have a 9600PRO and I got around 4200 in Hi Resolution on benchmark2 so it's ok to play FFXI at max resolution and details! | |

According to SE ANY Radeon 9xxx will be fine. If you do not know, try the Benchmark, and in case you want to buy it: It will most probably work, even my old Radeon 8500 works, which is about 40% slower thank a 9600 non-pro ![]() Badrock |

I am running a 9600 Pro and it has been awesome. I have had NO lag, NO graphics glitches, and am running with ALL setttings at maximum.

SquareEnix would be severly limitting who could play if they didn't support it. There's few cards more powerful than it.
