could i run the game using the following graphics card:

NVIDIA Geforce2 MX 100/200

If not, which graphic card is the minimum spec to play the game on

Thats the card I have, with 378 MB RAM and 950MHz Processor, and when I run the benchmark I got 1789. Cutting it close, but I should still be able to run it. Anyways, you should be able to run FFXI, if your processor and RAM are good.

IMO, they would both be pretty bad.. go to pricewatch and get a Radeon 9700 Pro. Its the best out right now.

Or at least get a G4 Ti if that is out of your price range, but MXs are horrible.

Horrible to the Intel 4MB card I had 3 days ago? I think not. If the game works, thats all I care about.

can someone post the known working video cards? i've heard lots of rumors of what will and will not work. also anyone have the link to the benchmark test?

I'm using a gf2 gts/pro now. Works pretty good at the base 640x480 resolution, but doesn't look as good as a lot of the screenshots that were made at higher resolution. I went up to 800x600 and it looks tons better, but is quite laggy now. I have a gf4 on the way. BTW I got 3300 on the benchmark as it is now. 1800xp/512ram

You won't enjoy the game with horrible graphics, if your planning on importing you want the best out of it cause your spending alot on the import. The Geforce 4 ti 4200 is your solution.
