I have a few questions about importing FFXI

1.What will I need for FFXI Import? (Special Japanese OS?)

2.How much is it monthly and how do I pay if it's the Japanese Import Version?

3.Do many people speak english on there?

4.Will the english version players(when it comes out) be able to play with the japanese import players?

1. You will need to change character encoding to japanese, this topic tells you how to do it. Also you will need to meet the minimum PC requirements.

2. 1280yen/month + 100yen/month for every extra character you create. You pay with creditcard.

3. On ragnarok (where i am), there is a linkshell called NeoGundan, as far as i know, everyone speaks english there.
