My router is stupid
Its a Wireless router that feels like disconnecting every minute or 2.

D-Link dl 614 i think
Anyone know how to decrease the stupidity of my router?

i also have a D-Link router, and all i have to say is................"SHUT UP MAN!, D-Link routers are good, although their instructions look like thay have been typed up by chimps" ok, first thing you can do is go to www.d-link.com and download the newest firmware for your router. Second thing you can do is open the ports that FFXI is using, you have to find out your port urself, cause every1ns is different. Third thing you can do, is check if your ISP is not the one causing the probs. and finally, the 4th thing you can do is carefully listen to your phone line when you are using the internet, and if there is static, even faint static, your phone lines are old, and need to be replaced. (this only applies to DSL users.)
