Installing Expansion

When i insert the first disk of the expansion it starts the install shield and then it gives me a error stating 1155: jibberishD:\Final Fantasy XI jibberish.msi more jibberish wondering if anyone could help me with this. TY for your time

Ok, this is a dumb question, but have you also installed non expantion FFXI? Also, does your computer have Japanese set as it's Language for non-Unicode programs? Hope that helps. If yes is the answer to both of those, then ya got me, but remember to have FFXI FULLY patched or the game will not work properly and you have to uninstall and reinstall everything.

LOL, yes i did install ffxi and i did fully patch it. No i do not have jp language package installed but i have installed it before without it. =/
