Freezing
I was playing the game fine last night, it did freeze once on me. I play again this morning and I cant seem to go 5 seconds without it freezing up on me. Cant even ctrl+alt+delete to get out of it, so i have to restart my machine. Any idea what may be causing this?

Well, this may or may not help, but a game freeze could be anything. Question is do you ever crash?

Game freeze are hard to figure out what is wrong as there are no errors. Crashes are easier because the blue screen of death tells you something.

What do you usually do that results in the freeze?

I have had similar problems where I had video problems that caused crashes and occasionally freezes. I uninstalled all remote control applications like pcAnywhere, Terminal Server, etc. and it solved the problem. A virus/trojan/worm can also do that to you as it may interfere with system functions.

More detail is needed on your freezes to truely figure out what is wrong. What was the last major thing you did to your system near the time when the freezes started to happen? Did you install a new hardware, software, driver? Did another crash occur? Maybe the files are corrupted on the disk and you need to run disk check (chkdsk c: /r [or /f]).

it doesnt crash, just Freezes. liek the screen just stops. music still plays but the game world and sound effects do stop. and i did nothing to my system really to spark the change. Now it was just running for a while, then froze again during a fight, its really strange.

Best bet....
It is to run chkdsk and make sure everything on the HD is peachy.
But otherwise, I do not know as the symptoms doesn't tell me anything. Don't want to tell you to do an open heart surgery when it is a simple headache.
