Best graphics card to buy for your computer (or order) = MSI GeForceFX 5800 Ultra, it'll cost you around £350 though. You can get a GeForce4 Ti 4200 128MB by Chaintec for £112 from Scan.co.uk.

The Geforce FX will be 399. If you're buying a card for the main purpose of FFXI, buying a Geforce FX would be an overkill. You can buy a Geforce4 Ti 4600 way cheaper. And cuz the Geforce FX comes out on in 51 days ( http://evga.com/ ), the price for the Ti 4600 will drop even more! And incase you want to go even cheaper, any of the Ti series would run FFXI pretty good.

All this was US currency.

The Sparkle series is scheduled for release on 12/2/2003, and the MSI series is scheduled for release on 29/1/2003. The Sparkle GeForceFX 5800 Ultra will cost £320, and the MSI GeForceFX 5800 Ultra will cost £350. Which model is supposed to cost $400? Probably the 5400 or 5600.

What are the specs between each of the series. If it's too major and has to involve memory bandwith issue im going for the 5600.
