Controller Problem+Trans Request

Im using a PS2 controller, and have been for the 2 months i have had this game, but now the DPad is not working in game, it works on the test thing. but not in game. here are my settings
oh, and this one doesnt support force feedback, as to my nowledge, these were the same settings i had before i formatted.

and for the translation request. i dont remember seeing this before i formatted. i get this after the first option after the opening movie
