Take your BB Navigator disc to your PS2 (Mine, pictured at this shot is BB Navi .20 btw)
Boot it then choose the option which is in blue at my picture.
The 1st option is diagnosis of the HDD (I think both options under that menu is just a filesystem check, nothing heavy)
The second option will wipe everything on the HDD and then will install the BB Navi software.
The third option just install the BB Navi Software
The last option is DVD Driver install
After that is done, get the POL CD-Rom (the DVD is FFXI disc)
Install it. Really, there will be a short movie with the POL disc before you can start the setup. And no, the first screen isn't a login screen it's a network setup screen.
Some stuff you must know :
DNAS means Dynamic Network Authentication System. It's meant to stop any form of piracy/illegal copying. So installing FFXI and POL from copied discs are impossible. Also DNAS has obviously issues with modchips. You can be DNAS banned and if that happens, you have to either beg Sony to unban you or buy a new PS2 unit. Keep distance from copied PS2 discs and modchips ... That stuff is naughty

If you happen to own a modchip, make sure it's disabled before trying to use POL/FFXI.
And yes, I have a japanese PS2 with BB unit, but I don't have FFXI.... :dead:
