Best looking settings for FFXI PC

I saw some of Elite's screens, and realized that they are far more beautiful than mine. I need the best looking settings!

I think my FFXI config is good configured: Everything on at highest except Texture preformance both at low.

But how shall I put Antialiasing, Antistrophic Filering and the stuff?
I discovered that both on does not look very good, at least at 800x600 (haven't tried 1024x768 yet).

It's your resolution, keep your texture performance at low and everything else set high, make sure you disable simple character make. Definitely set your resolution to 1024x768 and back buffer to 1024x1024. I keep all my anti aliasing off and antistrophic settings. Since it really doesent make FFXI look great at all. If you want nice sharp images keep AA off.

I had it on 1024x768. Antialiasing and Antistrophic were both at 4x and I was wondering why it looked so weird. On 800x600 even weirder.

Those settings make it look very blurry and it doesent look great anymore.
