I just got the import and cant seem to play... - Final Fantasy XI :: Dreams in Vana'diel :: Community

OK, I installed the game, I updated it and then I followed the tuturial on installing the expansion. All seemed well. except I cant play... I left an image of what its says when I try to play it. Anyone have any idea's?

You have to activate your content ID by inputting the PASSWORD (CD-Key on red sheet) provided in your copy into the content ID section of the help menu...

simply click on the last option on the menu and follow the directions...

Well, when I click on the bottom option on the left it asks me to input my ID and password, I did that and it gives me this message, (see image) then it promtly returns me to the ID and password screen. Does this mean that my ID and/or pass are invalid?

When I try to register my expansion it does that same thing as I posted above and gives me this pic.

My guess is that you have to buy contents ID and you haven't yet. The second choice from the top in the left box in wtf3 says "Purchase" (?w��) I think you might need to do that first.

Many thanks, I finnally got it working. You were right, I needed to purchase... :sweat: Well regardless of the pain it was installing and the 12,000 patches I had to download to play, so far every minute has been worth it. Although, isnt our first month supposed to be free? I thought I read it somewhere, could be wrong though. I have one more cd key on my list I havent used, could that have something to do with it?

You may have three to four registration codes, in the main box:
1.) Final Fantasy XI Key
2.) PlayOnline Key
3.) Tetra Master Key

In the Expansion:
4.) Expansion Key
