Yesterday morning (Friday 26/5) I was bored in game, so I came up with an idea to take screenshots of areas that I like most. Just a fun thing to do I guess but I think or hopefully keep adding screenshots to my small FFXI portfolio. I have re-edit the screenshots with photoshop and I hope you guys enjoy the screenshots as I did (It took me nearly around 2-3 hours to run around Vana'diel...)

Beautiful screenshots! But can someone tell me what that skimpy red number she is wearing on the beach is? I thought it was the RSE, but I know it's not, it's a wicked hot outfit and I want one when I start playing again!!!

It was an event item, cant remember when. It improves clamming results.

Also whats that armour your wearing? The sort of arabian looking stuff.

Event item?!? Nooo! Does that mean that it's rare/ex? Hopefully just rare. =P
As for the arabic looking armor, I believe that is Blue Mage armor. Just a guess though.

white : Bridal equipment or whatever that lv40 set is.

blue : imperial trooper equipment, I beleive the official name is "Jarihdah". This is NOT BLU AF.

red : Summerfestv2 event reward.


blue (armor) : adaman

But that doesn't answer my question as to whether the summer event outfit is rare/ex or not.

Yes, it's Rare/Ex. They'll probably have it available this year too though.
