Gonna revisit this, but anyone who's played the expansion knows already. This is just to comment on what I think of the area. Mamook is a VERY pretty place. I mean, when you're not keeping up Sneak and Invis to avoid all the death. I've gone through there numerous times when i've lead people to Mamook Ja Staging Point. To me, all the beastmen in the new area are above and beyond what we experience in the Old World. -Each job is distinct, not just same animation with a different weapon. -The Mamook mages are purple and wear what appears to be priest garments and necklaces. -Talk about spirits suggests that they are a very religious race, and that maybe there is a mage/shaman type of hierarchy. -Beastmen forces are very fucking organized. . . I mean, the WEAKEST I've seen are EP to me at 75. That's just insane. Keep in mind that also, when Besieged is going down, they send in the pawns first, then the big dawgs later. It's like common war tactics, and I'm very impressed. I've been to the Mamook Strongholds and I liked it. The Troll stronghold is kinda "meh," cause Fire and Brimstone doesn't do it for me. Arra Reef, if that IS the stronghold of the Lamia (undead) is very spooky, but I guess it fits. I'll post screen shots of each area. In conclusion, SE went overboard for this expansion. Not a lot, story-wise, but the amount of content they gave us is astounding.
