First Tiamat win on Pandemonium

First try, wipe at 5% HP.
Second try, call for help at 5% HP.
Third time's the charm.
First NA's to win on Tiamat. Yea yeah, some servers farm him now, but my server's in the caveman stage when it comes to endgame. Started around with 24 people, won with around 30.

Sorry for shitty quality, not too many shots cuz I was more focused on tanking~










We're still not sure what killed him. He fell to the ground, but the skillchain didn't kill him and we had no DoTs on. :3

Congratz guys, it feels really good when you take these wyrms down for the first time. About the 'falls to the ground' thing, he always does that no matter what kills him. Jormungand did the same thing, the only exception I've seen is when we killed Vrtra it said 'Garuda defeats Vrtra'

My PC's fine, I always change my settings to the absolute lowest when tanking HNM so that I don't fuck up with Utsusemi:Ichi with the lag. If I go full out settings, it takes so long to move to the Status line and then I have to click off at 20%

All the flying Wyrms (Tiamat, Jormungand, Ouryu, BC99 Wyrm) all "falls to the ground" when being defeated.

All non-flying Wyrms (Fafnir, Nidhogg, Vrtra) all display the "was defeated by <player>" when being defeated.

Congrats on Tiamat.

My server almost nobody kills them ever. How do you beat them? I heard it takes at least 1 summoner party and nin/war and pld/nin to cover nin for tanking. I also heard that non summoner damage was completly usless on them. I seen one JP group try but they didn't win. Some NA groups have tryed but they didn't even take off 1%.

Then your PC isnt fine...I can see that you would put the backround res down if you got lag or what ever...but the menu res puts about no wear on the GPU...

Can be done with 0 Smn's, they just make it so much easier...

Ah that makes sense, just never thought of that correlation.

And who cares how many tries it took, a lot can go wrong in these fights, point is they won. Just hope your server doesn't become like ours...we have to constantly watch for Tiamat to pop and be out there ready to go usually within a few hours or we won't get him.
