In In-game talk, there's a post made with a link to a page that has the moogle house tweak.

The summons all have the right look to them for ffxi, same design, same everything. Considering that all the expansion info is being transferred via updates, my vote is that they used the moogle tweak to get a sneak peek at the new summons that were included in the version ups. I highly doubt that someone would go to the trouble to design, render, color and photoshop themselves up some new summons that have the same feel as the rest of the game. My 2 gil.

I never thought the rendered the whole picture, it just kinda looked to me that they just implanted a 'summon' onto the screen, since they look so out of place. But since they are just there in replacement of the moogle, they ARE out of place. Its a bit more believeable now that i know the scenario.
