As I was browsing around the AH today I noticed that a certain someone on our server has maxed out money. I honestly, didn't think it was possible. Here's proof.

Yeah, I wouldn't even take the chance for that to happen with an item like that. Just imagine someone browsing it and bidding right between the time you put it up and the time you go to bid on it.

Sorry to burst your bubble here, but max gil is 999,999,999. 999M, that screenshot is only 99M. If I had the PC version I would take a screenshot of a 100 GSer selling a Celerity Ring +1 to himself for 300,000,000. Yes, 300M. The only Aristocrat's Coat that's been sold has been sold for 100,000,000... 100M. 1 more gil than your screenshot there. If anyone reading this is from Diabolos they know that Sagaxxxx DOES have capped gil on two characters. It is quite possible he is the richest player in all of FFXI.

Where I think you got capped from was the fact that you can only bazaar items for 99M (99,999,999). I don't mean to take any thunder from this thread... 99M is still an ass load of money. Something I'll never have.

I'm pretty sure the cap on gil is 1 short of a billion. Use to think that the cap would be 99,999,999 but someone bought Herald Gaiters from themselves on our server for 235,000,000 gil (*Cough*Beru*Cough*).

Beru sold a Noble's tunic to himself for 100mil back in the day and those +10ACC +10ATK Lv.74 MNK/SAM/NIN Kote to himself just the other day for 118mil and some change. His linkshell NewCompany controls our servers economy, and their mule Tresure is one of the only people selling Noble's tunics for quite some time (10-14mil usually).

They are insanely elite, take Alfheim for example one of their 75SMN's and a friend of mine, he's a Hume, with a full Zenith set, and he has 1600mp... 235+ days of play (asked him back in august sometime), and well he's JP, he has all 8 HQ staves, an Astral Signa, and pretty much everything else you can imagine, close to full summoner relic (some of their other smn's DO have full summoner relic). He's very nice unlike some of the NewCompany LS (*ahem*Micken*ahem*), and Beru is quite the anti-social person himself. NC is all JP btw.

That's my schpeal on NC for the day, I like them only because Alfheim is awesome and cool and has taken me to fenrir twice and we've lost both times and still wants to take me a 3rd time.

10m + for a SH, wth man! lol its only 5m on Siren. even then. come to think of it.
how the F*** do you even earn so much money?! i cant even imagining myself earning past 50m! how the heck u get so much >< lol

That's the +1 version, the normal is around 8 mil I think.
