Just found out how to configure snag-it to take them in JPG format, will this give a much less quality photo? or you think i should change just to save on the file size. any tips or suggestions for this thread be much appreciated

JPG format should be fine, quality is barely noticeable and it takes up a lot less size and you won't fill up your uploading space quickly and the page will load quicker :p A couple of suggestions, take out the text in game when you're taking a picture(scroll lock in case you didn't know) and make the pictures a little smaller because I have to scroll to the side to just view all of the picture.

a couple problems with getting rid of the text chat :D i'm using snagit and i got it set to directx which uses the scroll lock key to take the pics so it takes them before it gets rid of the text, only way i could get it to work :D any tips on getting them smaller? i'd love to but dunno how ^^ and my file server doesn't go by size of files, it goes by how many, i can upload 2k pictures that r no more than 2 mb each :D

Pretty sure you can change the key to take pictures for Snag It or whatever, or I'm pretty sure you could just change the key in FFXI to clear text. To adjust the size of them, you can just open in the picture in a program like photohop or paint shop pro and just go to image size. There's always the in game picture taker too XD But then again the quality on those isn't that great :sweat:
