Model Viewer eat your heart out

I like the sam AF. my friends know this. i like it...alot. so here's what i've done with that handy export to mqo feature in model viewer, and much more is to come. The entire animation bit is gonna require some work, but the prep looks great!

Well I got some good news, after exporting the model to the mqo file, the one from the FFXIModelViewer, I created a little convertor ( works fine for about 90% of the cases ) in VB.NET so it converts to a DirectX file with 90% the exact UVW texture mapping !!

Only need to find a tool that converts X to 3DS or imports X files ( shouldn't be that hard, haven't looked though )

Importer and Export for 3DS Max 6 :

The Attached file is the very first release for the conversion of a mqo file to a Direct X file, rename file to zip and extract it.

Ex.: RedMage.mqo will become RedMage.x

Known Errors :
1. If there is an object with multiple textures on 1 mesh, there is no correct uvw mapping. Solution, in 3D Max, detach the parts that are not correctly mapped and attach the correct texture.
( this is the case with Leviathan ! )
2. If the X file doesn't load, there is a part in the x file that has no verteches, remove that part completely from the x file and the import will work.
3. The tree in the viewer doesn't load, why, I dono !

I found a nice tool that views my models ( Ultimate Unwrap3D ) but it is a trial, no saving, so I'm unable to convert to 3DS, help is needed here.

ls leader liked the image, gave them credit, whomever it was o nthe website which never took off, made a sig based off the webdesign, which i dun really care about anyway cause the ls died a few months ago.
