Those are real nice... *Feels more FFXI-less* Wish I had it. But I'm waiting for the English version. I dunno why, I guess I just don't get the urge to import for something I can't understand. Well.. I'll ask, when you get it, you need an HDD, right? And also, if I have a keyboard, would the messages send in english?

If you want to import the PS2 version, ya need a PAL/Japanese version of the PS2, an impoted HDD, a modem, and the game. But if you want to import for the PC, you just need the game. There is a benchmark out there to see if your PC can handle the game. I suggest you read around this site and forum for some more info.. And I know 0 Japanese. Arevir has been my teacher. Ppl will help ya get the hang of it.

i was wondering the same if the game capped it at 30 FPS...I guess i will not know until i import... which might be in as little as a week.

p.s if anyone knows any more about the 30 FPS please post something.

Yea, the bench is capped at 60 FPS. I don't know why the PC version is capped at 30 FPS at the resolution I have it at. I may try lower resolutions later, but I don't really care bout those resolutions. Then again, every FF that Square has brought over to the PC platform has been done horribly .

My video card on this system is the Radeon 9700 Pro. I ran the bench once with lowest settings and just stopped the bench when I reached 6300. What makes these pics look extra nice are the 6X anti aliasing and the 16X anisotropic filtering technologies.

Guess I'll post some of the pics I've taken in the last two days..
