My guess is ninja in expansion. There isn't gonna be a samurai. Chances are, ninja = samurai in the expansion.

Yes, her armor is very nice. It appears to be Ninja. Samurai are overrated, now that I think of it. They were cool when the game "Way of the Samurai" came out, but not no more... Now let's NOT talk about that game. If you want, talk about it at the General Gaming forum.

Sorta reminds me of a pint-sized Samanosuke (?) from Onimusha.

Generally in ff games, Samurai and Ninja tend to be different classes with different strengths and weaknesses. And that's obviously a samurai styled outfit, anyone got conclusive proof that Samurai isnt being released, or just basic speculation?

a lot of jpnse mags have said samurai were gonna be in game, and now with this new screen i am believing more and more.

Im almost 100% sure samurai are in game

Posted this on Gamefaqs but no one believed me :p .... mean if the sword wasn't photoshoped it had to be a samurai sword... normally you would see them hanging from ppl's backs not at their side.

Err.. dont ALL samurais have their swords at their sides.

Just imagine if as an item in the ring or belt slot, the Samurai could equip a container of saki....Ronin style, baby.

I've always thought that look and state of being was sad, yet poetic.

That isn't warrior armor. Some NPC's have it, which is where you might have seen it.

Well Ninjas some times put them on there back when they had to be on the move to do things like clim and stuff but if you ever see a ninja's sword and a katana the ninjas sword is smaller most the time for faster drawing of the blade and for it to be drawn from the back."If you ever tryed to draw a sword from your back its hard or to long to be done"So yeah what you said is right :p
