PS2: Press Select then press R2 and R1 (Simultaneously)

PC: Scroll Lock then Print Screen

when you print screen dont oyu have to go to paint and then paste it? try that

For the PC this is where i found my screenshot.

C:\Program Files\PlayOnline\SQUARE\PlayOnlineViewer\pub\home0 1\open\ScreenShots\FinalFantasyXI

It might be alittle different for you.

yeah and for ps2 it goes to w/e your e-mail addy is thats what i heard.

You can also get a program called hypersnap, this is for the PC version. I take screens with one button and it's in full resolution. The ones in POL seems to be real small.
