Thanks! I was hoping someone would enjoy them.
My computer is pretty old, but it runs FFXI decently. I'm doing a complete upgrade soon when new stuff comes out later this year.
Athlon XP 1900+
512MB RAM
ATI Radeon 8500 (better known as the 9100 without the 8X AGP)

The resolution I'm running at is 1024 x 768 on both options in FFXI.

Actually no, I don't use the backbuffer hack. I dont' think my vidcard's memory could handle the highres textures, so I never tried. As for the Sanctuary, here you go

I was wondering, the background looks nice and sharp and if i play it on my screen it looks all blocky and blurry.
I use 1024 on both and all textures are uncompressed and bumpmapping is also on.
Do you have FSAA on or something like that? Cause maybe that would increase picture quality.

Another question:
Screenshots are made with external programs right?

Scim, no I don't use any advanced video settings. No FSAA, Anisotropic filtering, etc. All mine is left at default. The reason is, my videocard can't handle it. Remember, I'm running an ATI Radeon 9100 equivalent here... As for the SSs, yes they're made with an external program. However, the SSs I'm posting here are JPGs using a crappy png->jpg converter @ 80% quality. This is nowhere near the quality of the originals. The originals are *nice* and *sharp*.

Hi jamual111.
1) By lag, i'm assuming you mean game lag due to hardware. No, I don't get much lag at all except when there are handfuls of players on the screen or unless I'm in an alliance and the entire party is doing all sorts of stuff at once. (For example, I was in a 12 member party doing some AF quests. The mages were casting offensive/defensive/healing spells and the front ends were fighting their butt off. It got really slow then with all the text moving at 100mph. In the end though, it was very pretty to see "Light", the level 3 renkei effect.

2) Yes, I play with weather effects on.

3) Haha, I have so many pics, I'm not sure which ones to show. Any requests would be gladly accepted (unless I don't have a SS of the request).

Or a Mithra using a gun or bow.
Want to see potentially how my character will appear. Attractiveness is a key thing to me.
