I'll work on it. I'm usually in a party with a Redmage. I'm not sure what you want besides just casting. I'll take a random number of shots though.

Ah. Occidio, I've been meaning to reply. I see Mithrans with AF constantly, but haven't seen any of them use a bow or gun yet. I'm frequently in parties with Thieves, but none that were Mithra. I'll be sure to post if I find them.

As for my "dinky piece of wood", that's what my AF1 is. I have a staff that I use when NM hunting, but haven't really spent any gil on any new weapons. The AF1 is good enough for me as of right now (good MP boost).

WOW man, those pictures are freakin' awesome. I don't understand, I've got better comp specs than you (AMD Athlon XP 2400+, ATI Radeon 9700 Pro, 512MB DDRRAM), yet my graphics don't look anywhere near as good as yours, and I get fps drops all the time. Man, I should really figure out what's going on. I just formatted, too and I'm sure I'm using the latest drivers.

Anyway, awesome pics, keep posting

Thanks for the comments! I'm sure you'll figure out a good config for FFXI. You should be able to produce the same or better images.

As for my name...yeah. I'm that guy. I officially retired on July 30th.

Haha, I just edited the post before this one talking about my retirement date. I guess you beat me to the punch. As I said, I retired from WC3 on July 30th.

I dont' play WC3 anymore. WC3 was my game during my university years. I just graduated from college last summer (August to be specific). All I do now is just work, make $$$, and play FFXI.

Anyway, have you ever been able to check your FPS in-game? Does it really only go down when they're are a bunch of players on the screen? I use Fraps, and mine fluctuates all the time, just walking around and rotating camera around when riding chocobo.. I can't figure this out. Hell, my score didn't even go up in 3DMark03 after I formatted. It's really frustrating cause I want the game I spend hundreds of hours playing to run well :/
