i've been checkin in on your pictures for a while now Faluzure, i love your work

Your a great role-model for people like me that want to be a Elvaan Black Mage, and you seen to do very well for yourself in spite of your race not being taru (which many have said will only suffice for a pure mage).

Also, congratulations on the Peacock Charm, and also the Moldavite earring... but mostly the Peascock charm i know many a melee that would be envious of you right about now, hell anyone would be for 5 mil.

So again thank you for your inspiring pictures, and your commitment for excellence (hahah i think i went too far :sweat: )

Thoronas: I'll try to get a pic of Holy. WHMs dont' use it very often because the damage is inconsistent. At high levels, sometimes you'll get 100-150 damage, but never higher. I'll probably just have to ask a friend to cast it for me.

Tetsura: Thanks for the compliments! I'm glad I'm inspiring some of you players that aren't Taru to pick up the job as BLM. I know all these guides & forum posts say that anything that's not Taru isn't good for mage. That's completely false.

I will however, agree with that opinion at low levels. Yees Taru will blow us Elvaans (or any other race) out of the water based on mana & Int stats alone. At higher level, its a different story...

Like I said before, at my current level (level 70, I'm 30xp away from 71), its unnoticeable. Take for instance last night. There was another party near us. BLM JP Taru, level 73. I'm Level 70. I bursted between 1020 (lowest) to 1104 (highest). My consistency results were around 1050-1074. The taru, despite being level 73 with *better* equipment bursted as between as 1040-1163. His consistency ended up in the low 1100s. (I have some screenies from this I think you'll like. Will post later).

So expect a bumpy road until you get high level (around 40s). If another BLM is available & he's Taru, there is a slight possibility that he'll be chosen over you, but don't be discouraged. BLMs are always welcome in a party for their damage output. One thing to alleviate the differences between other races & Taru is to stock up on foods, drinks, & INT+ equipment. Yeah, this can be pricey, but try to get them if you can. It equates to more damage, less downtime overall.

Finally, here's a funny screenshot in Davoi. I'm assuming they were trying to do the Paladin quest? They were about level 30. This guy you see in the picture was in a party with another guy (way ahead). When I saw him running, I saw a few orcs and was about to cast Diaga on them to have them agro me instead so I could save him. They were just Serjeants & Cursemakers at first. And then Impalers, Beastriders, etc.. Then Troopers, Gladiators & those equivalents. I decided not to help him because as you can obviously see, there are too many for me to handle, even with my -Ga III spells. I would have died from at least 20+ orcs agro'ing me. I did catch a Firebelcher as the caboose though & killed him

You can see his health as I have him selected... It ended up that he didn't make it to the exit in time.

Bune Screenshots Post
For those of you that don't know, I was invited to an HNM only JP LS over the weekend. The Shellholder messaged me and told me about the purpose of their LS and asked me to join. Very cool LS. It seems they spend nearly all day, 5 days a week hunting HNMs only. HNMs stand for "Hyper Notorious Monster" and you get some of the best stuff in the game from them. This is the 2nd (and last) HNM we fought (I'm saving the best for last). I think they went through about 6 of them total for the day.

Being in the back, you don't get very good close up shots. This is all I could come up with. Just to let you know what we got, we got one of the best RDM swords in the game.

It sells for 5 million. The leader is dividing it between all those involved in the PT. So I get about 280,000 gil for helping out.

Aspidochelone HNM Pics
I've been noticing posts about the Adamantoise & PTs to kill him. Now, I'm going to show you the *REAL* Adamantoise. This post shows pics of Aspidochelone, an even more powerful version of Adamantoise. The JPs consider him "Hyper Adamantoise". His chance to appear is only if you kill the regular Adamantoise. Adamantoise spawns every 21-24 real time hours. So finding him was a rare feat.

The Alliance I'm in is the HNM JP LS that I was invited to over the weekend. They were fighting him for a long time (for over 20 minutes) and when I got there, they were still pounding away at him. It took 15 minutes more after I got there with 2 other mages.

Please excuse the screenshots (as a mage you're supposed to be in the back, *ESPECIALLY* vs Aspidochelone). One WHM ran up there to cast Curaga II and Aspidochelone hit him once and he died (Screenshot 2). We raised him and he ran back to us. Everyone in the Alliance was level 75, except 4 others (including me). The battle was spectacular. If you were to see the JPs play in glory, this would probably be one of them. Awesome teamwork, as those of you know, a lot of mobs aggro in this area, especially Perytons & Velociraptors. The JPs were swapping back & forth sleeping, stunning, attacking the aggro'd mobs as well as dishing out damage to Aspidochelone. The mages took turns resting (as there were 2 bards, 5 BLMs, and 4 WHMs along with the melee folks).

The item that was dropped were 2 Adaman Ores (going for at least 150K a piece) and an "A.Abjuration: Body". For those of you that don't know, these are only acquired by really strong HNMs. They are the key piece to unlocking "cursed armors" that you may have seen in bazaars. The A. Abjuration: Body item (as you will see in the last screenshot) is used to uncurse the item "Dalmatica". This item is one of the highest level items you can get for caster-support classes. Here are the stats below for both normal & HQ Dalmaticas:

Dalmatica Level 73, Def 45 WHM/BLM/RDM/BRD/SMN
Magic Def. Bonus+5
Adds "Refresh" effect
Enhances "Resist Paralyze" effect
Converts 50 HP to MP

Dalmatica +1 Level 73, Def 46 WHM/BLM/RDM/BRD/SMN
Magic Def. Bonus+6
Adds "Refresh" effect
Enhances "Resist Paralyze" effect
Converts 55 HP to MP


The title I got (similar to attacking other high level HNMs like King Behemoth) was Aspidochelone Sinker. Pretty cool if you ask me

Thanks for the comments! MM... I'm not sure what you mean with "blue static". Can you be more specific?

Just a little request, could you post a SS of a high LV mithra(either in AF{would like DRG} or doing something hot) with the same model as mine IN-GAME
My model is the one with the same haircut/haircolor as my avatar on the forum.
It seems this model is the rarest among the mithras, only saw 4-5 other players with the same model.

You mean the white hair with the shag hairstyle, but straightened? I'm assuming you mean this one. Am I right? If so, I like that one too. Its the cutest of all mithras IMO. But if its not, then this is the only "rare" mithra model that I know of.

Hmm, I normally don't take pics of my magic bursts because well... they're not that interesting. But ok, next time I'm in a party, will do.

THat's either the end effect of a heal spell or the start of Spinning Slash, a 2H sword WS. I do believe its a heal spell though...
