so earlier tonight Fal mentioned he posted pics of our god fight... i said i was gonna go look at them. he Said "its 107 pages!" .... i wasnt quite sure what he ment... once i clicked the topic i understood lol

after looking at the first page (elv RSE lol) i went to the last few pages, and i found the pics (take that Fal!) good pics :D

man you are intense on the screenshots... you have a billion kajillion up... and everyone is edited (cept dynamis o_O)

why dont ya just ask people if they mind you posting them on a forum, i dont think many would care ( i dont, ive got such a good beard.... and name, no?)

Hello, btw I would like to thank you for multiple reasons. One is for making the BEST thread on FFXI, I do not lie. Second for supplying a picture I used for my banner. Last, for letting me set the fore ground for my fan fiction now that I know a lot of the story ahead of time. Thank you ^^.

To balz: Haha! I meant it. There's so many aspects of this game that still has to be discovered by most of the players. Even all us level 75 NAs, JPs, etc. still have potential for learning. Maybe not in terms of battle fundamentals, but how to perform certain strategies. I mean when Dynamis first came out, do you really think the JP players perfected it overnight? Just a few months ago, NAs on our server started hitting the Gods up in Ru'Aun Gardens. Despite the fact that they were 75, they had no clue on any battle strategies. This is the thing about FFXI that deserves my love/hate relationship. I'm always learning new things (thanks Promathia T_T) but at the same time.. this game will never end.

To Fafnyr: Hey Era. You want to visit Quetz? I have no problem with that and would glad to have you on my server, but there are some things I would like to address, so give it a thought.

I'm not quite sure of how serious you would be on my server. As you know, starting from scratch sucks. That is why many people do not start over unless absolutely necessary. Looking at your profile, it seems you are already level 75, thus you know how long and what work you had to get yourself from the beginning. Furthermore, I wouldn't mind helping you along the way (missions etc.), but I have my JP HNM LS priorities, as well as my NA LS to help from time to time. So that may take a chunk out of my time. But again, if you are willing to put time into that character, I'd be glad and honored to help you along the way. But if you're just looking to jump ship onto my server just to be friends, we can easily do that through POL messaging. Just add me to your Friends List if you would like.

I work from 8-5, so if you have any instant messaging software, you can contact me through that. As for the WP, I can get you that if you haven't found one yet. Let me know and I'll run over to Windurst Tuesday evening.

To SparkytheBard: Haha, welcome Sparky. I told you not to come. I don't like publicizing this thread, it draws too much attention. ~_~ As for the God pics, I usually try to post 3 (beginning, middle, end w/ drops). Nobody needs to see 10-15 mins of the same thing over & over. I do take a lot of screenshots, but it is those who like to see them that drive me onward. If it wasn't for this thread on FFXIOnline.com, I would quit taking them. I have no use for them, it is for the enjoyment of others that I do this.

Thanks for having me in the LS by to help out with things. It gets really lonely over in my JP LS during our peak times.

As for censoring images... it is hard to ask everyone for their permission. Especially with the Japanese players, they probably question my motives. 80% of my PTs are with Japanese players, so it is really just a hassle. So censoring, despite the work, is the easiest route.

As for me being a legend... I wouldn't call it that. It was quite unintentional (like Warcraft 3).

To chyper: Actually no. I didn't expect it to live this long (nor did I expect to keep taking pictures). I planned on it dying after a month or so, but lots of people kept telling me to continue with it. So as long as you guys want to see more, I'll keep posting more (until I quit the game).

As for the "biggest" thread on this forum, no no. I don't think it is. There are other threads on this forum that are much bigger I think.

hello Fal, and Happy Halloween. Quick question for you. On all your HNM killing experience, have you ever had many WAR join you. If so what would be there purpose. Reason i'm asking is becasue i'm just really starting to question being a WAR. It's fun and all but I just don't see my purpose for the "real" fun. Thanks in advance.

Fal, I think Blood Red Poet was referring to "the boy" in the picture in his sig. Cyborg eye's kinda hard to forget. Or he could be referring to the Enigmatic Youth ("???" in game so far), but I guess he'll need to clarify himself which one he means. I don't think Enigmatic Youth is the same person, unless it's some sort of "part of the individual in an alternate reality" a la Dynamis plot.

By the way, was that a typo in your mission list, or were two successive missions really both called Comedy of Errors?

As for someone loving you (though the cute blue frowny face totally takes away from any seriousness of the complaint), well ... two sides to every coin. There's been some nasty drama (which I know you hate), in the name of "love", just on our server. I'm sure I don't need to give you examples.

If something genuine happens, it happens. If it doesn't happen, think of all the time you *don't* have to spend thinking of flattering comments. :angel:

You could always try meeting someone in RL and getting them addicted to FFXI too. :spin:

Note about Vana'Diel Tragedy:
It is not one of those fan fictions that has a lot of cool fights(thought is may seem like that right now). Chapter 5 and up you start to see just 'tragic' it all is. But... yes... it will continue to have 'cool fights' . Also this fan fiction is right out of the books, event to event storyline. Everything will be in it. AFs, ect ect ect. It is going to be long Let just hope I can complete it.

I don't think the boy and Eald'narche are the same person...

Bahamut told him that all his people were dead, and that the body he inhabited was nothing more then a curse. Also he seems to talk about someplace called Al'tieu. All in all if the boy is anything, he's most likely a Kuluu, or some even older race we know nothing about...

Apparently Bahamut was a Kuluu who ascended to become the Wyrmking, it'd make sense if the Boy was something similar, it'd explain why Nag'molada recognized him. Since they'd both be Kuluu.

And if he isn't a Kuluu, and some older race. It seems Bahamut originally appeared to combat the Emptiness. He does mention this isn't the first time the boy appeared. So if he did appear 10,000 years ago, and was defeated by Bahamut, the Kuluu, and Dawnmaidens. Then it'd expalin again why Nag'molada recognized him.

I hate how small the FFXI screen shot folder is, i really do. I was gonna post a pic of a trip my static and i went on, where we got the Sea Horror down to 1/3rdish (mebbe half) life, before it got tired of out little game and promptly killed the NIN >.< (I honestly didnt know it could move that fast, with the NIN down, SMN followed the suit in under a second, and it followed me around the ship as i tried to find a place to hide =P) I'd taken to many scenery shots though, and hadnt started Fraps, meh.

Anyways, the Sea Horror is....nothing compared to the other HNM's ive seen in yer thread, and since ive seen all those, now i wanna kill em keep posting eh? ^_^
