Hi-Res screenies

how are some of you capturing these hi-res screenies that i see without the pol stamp on it?

The easiest way would be Fraps, it defaults to numlock for a snap.
the free version 1.9 is only limited in video capture.

Hypersnap is also an alternative, among others.
