Question about a good duo?

So as of right now I'm a BLU/NIN and I'm loving it so far. I told my friend about how awesome it was and now he wants to be jobs that will work with me to be a good combination. He would prefer not to heal and would prefer not to be a /BLU since that's what I am.

Any suggestions?

Vague question, meet thorough answer: 2 Duoers Need Advice

Short answer: BLU can DD, mitigate damage, heal, and when necessary, bind and sleep, so you can get just about any duo partner and still adapt.

Yeah, but BLU + DNC or /dnc is more fun. Also fun jobs to duo with a BLU: DRK (have a care! needs to be prepared to take hate and make use of stun/drains), RDM (for the sword, but refresh is nice when you get there), and DRG/mage.

Blu can duo with just about anything, but low level blu, i would say a DRG/WHM would produce very short fights. Both can self heal, or heal the other, and both can DD effectively.
