Clock display while engaged

This has been bugging me for a while.
Every time I engage a mob in melee combat, the Vanadiel time display vanishes and so far no amount of fiddling with the configuration settings has proven effective.

Is there a way to keep it displayed while I'm fighting things or am I going to be stuck without a clock while fighting?

Re: Clock display while engaged

You're stuck without a clock, sadly. There's some odd condition, like when you're targeting a spell that you've selected from the menu, where it comes back, but it's not really feasible to do if you want to keep it up most of the time.

Well phooey, that just seems like a huge fumble in the design.

Re: Clock display while engaged

I consider the lack of a clock just annoying in a fight, it's more important when timing something like Nyzul lamps.

If there's one thing that I think was a mistake to have vanish in a fight, it's the radar.

Re: Clock display while engaged

Just sneak a peek at it when you pop a weapon skill or something. The clock shows up whenever you go to target something.

And the loss of the compass directions is more annoying to me that the radar blips.
