Accounts deleted from POL ... anyone had this happen before?

Okay some background, I logged into my mule account earlier to do some things on her before I logged into my main. No problems at all. I then logged into my ex-husband's account to borrow some things from it, was dual boxing, briefly, which I do from time to time. Sent the stuff I needed, logged him out. No problems there.

I went to log in my main account, clicked the same version of POL(Windower) I always do, and it asks me to update POL. I do that, and it restarts, and then it welcomes me to POL like I'd never been there before, and doesn't show the regular screen with my accounts on it, instead asks me to add members.

What.
The.
Fucking.
Hell.

I asked in my linkshell if anyone else had that happen to them, no one else did. So what the fuck? Random POL fail error? I re-added all four accounts but that was random and annoying. Wondering if there's a problem now, even though everything seems to be running fine.

Should I freak out? Or is this normal?

Some people at leat on my server were having issues connecting. So i think you need not to worry

When did it happen? Because there was a small POL update on friday or saturday. If you hadn't logged from POL since, then it would ask for the update after starting up again.

It feels like I had this happen once before. I just had to re-add my account and let it pull the information from the server again. PoL essentially forgot who you are like the local copy became corrupt or something.

Never had this happen, but I had a scarier thing happen recently:

Logged in fine, clicked Games > FFXI and the top screen came up. Clicked Play, and I got the error message telling me I needed a content ID to play. Then i freaked out for a few minutes before I realized I had forgotten to update my CC info and my account had been temporarily canceled.

I almost started to freeeek.

People on BG say it's the Distance plugin that causes this, usually paired with dual-boxing.
