How do you send mail?

Yep, there's the noob question of the day! Just started yesterday and wanted to get a mule going, but I can't seem to figure out how to mail stuff to him. I thought it would just be through the delivery box in the mog house, but obviously not. So if someone could give me a nudge in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
