Hey guys and gals I have a question about this gamer tag thing first off I used to play ffxi a lot but at the time I lived with my uncle who played to but he played on pc I used his 360 for my account which still has my gamertag on it which is the gt I used to play ffxi and also I was using his cd to play. I recently bought a 360 and a harddrive and want to play ffxi again and not start over since I have a 66 blu and 63 drk. can I buy ffxi 08 collection and use this to log in and play my old account also how do I transfer my gamertag from his 360 hdd to mine he has no internet atm and I will have internet soon so can I use the recover gamertag option in the 360 or am I just crap out of luck all the way around /cry please help

Yes. You can buy an 08 collection and use it to play your old account. The way I transferred my GT from one 360 to the other is saving it to a memory card. I bought one because I had to return my old 360 cause I got the ring of death so I had to save everything. I was able to save my GT on it and I didn't have to use the recovery. If you don't have a memory card then you will have to wait till you have internet to recover it.
