I'm working on a video faq for new players only. I have did some filming but only have one short video released. Video 1: Trading the coupon and getting signet.

Actually, the answer to the most frequently asked question is "Odin."  We need a sticky or video or something that says "It Odin, dammit! Stop asking! No, don't make your character there, we're full! Go to lolPandy." |

I think that's actually a good idea. The video guides tend to be easier to explain than trying to convince players to input things based on a piece of text. Two quibbles: 1. You may want to bring up the issue of the Map and how you find the coupon NPC. Part of that is covered in the opening CS, but I've had to tell newbies how to do that a lot anyway. 2. When you post the video on a website or forum like this one, they tend to shrink the youtube video down. On that last part, it was hard to see what you were doing after you got Signet. Maybe put in a text cutout so that people can see that if it gets cross posted somewhere. Other than that, good stuff. |
