Can You Choose Your Kingdom???

Im confuesd. At first I thought you could choose a kingdom to start out at. But some post have said it depends on your class or race. Could someone explain this to me??? Thanks

you can start in any kingdom but if you start in the kingdom of your race you get a ring i think

Ok you can choose which Kingdom you start out in except for Jeuno.

San d'Oria- Home of Elvaans
Republic of Bastok- Humes and Galkas
Windurst-Taru Tarus and Mithras

If you pick the kingdom that is your race's home, you'll get a special ring.

The ring stats are...
- San d'Oria ring: D2 STR+1 MND+1 ~ Lv1 All Jobs
- Bastok Ring: HP+3 DEX+1 VIT+1 ~ Lv1 All Jobs
- Windurst Ring: MP+3 INT+1 AGI+1 ~ Lv1 All Jobs
